Strange i18n behaviour

Hi,

I did a clean cvs checkout of the KDE_3_0_BRANCH today and now I've a wei=
rd=20
mixture of english and german strings. The startup messages are in englis=
h,=20
the kde-menu is german. kmail starts up in english and switches to german=
 if=20
I restart it. Konqui has german and english menu-strings.=20
I'm a little bit lost, any idea what went wrong?
