[Kde-hardware-devel] Bug 179127: respond to user replacing hardware

Hello,

I was asked to spawn a thread about a discussion that started at bugs.kde.org:

In this wish, I argue that Solid should edit UDEV rules when users replace 
hardware in their computer.

I'd like to hear the arguments people have on why this is or isn't a good 
idea.
