[Kde-hardware-devel] Suspend (to Disk / to RAM) signal in Solid?

Hello,

I would like to know whether Solid provides a signal, when a Suspend-to-Disk or Suspend-To-RAM action is starting. I looked at the Solid PowerManagement, and found requestSleep(), and the supportedSleepStates(). But I would like to know when the action starts.

Rationale: I would like to close all Mixer devices in KMix when a Supspend starts. There are very good reasons for that:
1) A lot of sound drivers in the kernel are not capable of proper suspending. They will either block the suspend or fail when waking up.
2) Distributors know that and sometimes kill off any program that holds a sound device => KMix might get killed on a Suspend.
3) If distributors don't do that, users implement that themself.

 Christian
