In my opinion, yes, when you compile and install the libraries we ship in the 
SC (kipi, kexiv, etc) as part of the digikam tarball, yes you should install 
only the binaries and not the headers.

For gwenview or any other program out there using those libraries there is 
already the regular tarballs we release with the SC.

And if you do that, it will save us the trouble of the dikigam tarball 
overwriting the headers libkipi from the SC ships.
