KMahjongg for KF5 on Apple OSX needs kded and friends in order to do
file I/O (Save and Load), but it is already using QApplication.
However, it has not yet been ported away from kde4support, see [1]. Does
the dependency on kded and friends go away when there is no more need
of kde4support in an app?

Is that documented somewhere?
It will lift a great weight from the KDE-Mac group's shoulders if we do not
have to worry about kdeinit5, klauncher5 and kded5 on Apple OS X. Their
predecessors are the source of several problems in KDE 4 apps on OS X,
many of which are unsolved.
Does anyone here know *for sure* about this?
