You are supposed to bump the version in a *ui.rc whenever you change it.
Otherwise, whatever the user has locally configured in $KDEHOME will
override the new *ui.rc file.  Johannes, please note.  Palapeli *ui.rc files
are all at version 1.0 AFAICS.
