Concerning Iris, I copy below an answer to Albert one year ago. Many of the 
points are still valid. Furthermore, there is no official release of libiris. 
Quoting http://delta.affinix.com/iris/: "There are no official releases of the 
library yet. The latest source can be found in the ‘iris’ module of the Delta 
SVN."

There is in fact four official sources for the latest source code... So, I'm not 
sure what I should really do, as the version included in ksirk works as 
needed.
