Imhotep would be an excellent choice: first architect, designer, engineer
known by name ... Pharaoh Djoser's right-hand man ... designer of one of
the early pyramids, the Pyramid of Djoser, stepped not "pyramid-shaped",
a little like the pyramids in Central America.
