The reason it was moved is that in the run up to KDE 4.0 we reviewed all the
games in the module to make sure we were only releasing the best for KDE4.
One of the most important requirements we had was that a game must have a
maintainer.

We don't really have any real, solid rules about being allowed into kdegames
other than what's the case for all KDE modules. The few recommendations we
have are:
* Rescalable interface
* SVG graphics (if applicable)
* Uses libkdegames classes where appropriate, e.g.
  # KStandardGameAction
  # KScoreDialog
  # KGameDifficulty
  # etc.

So essentially, if the game has a maintainer, is (relatively) bug-free, is fun
to play and fits with the rest of the games in the module then it would be
considered for inclusion in the next minor KDE release (KDE 4.2, 4.3 etc.).

If you have any specific questions feel free to ask on the IRC channel at
irc://irc.kde.org/kdegames.

Regards,
Matt Williams
