[Kde-games-devel] Sound in kdegames?

Hello,
Shouldn't we trust Phonon developers to make it work as needed in future
release ? I don't know their agenda, but it was presented as a Pillar of KDE.
So, it should progress I suppose. If this is true, we should probably not
loose energy in developing another solution.
Or am I wrong ?
