QCanvas is a great tool for some types of games, not for others.  For 
example, I think it's a wonderful tool for writing card games and board 
games.  I loved it when writing Megami.  I even think it'd be good for 
writing old-fashioned arcade games, because the simple collision detection 
is all you need.

But I'd never write a fast-paced action game with QCanvas.  That's not the 
kind of thing it's designed for.  I'd use SDL to display the graphics.
