I'm closing this as the desktop freeze is specific to a single environment
(Citrix Workspace under Linux emulation with Plasma/KWin). grahamperrin found a
workaround (restart kwin_x11) and no one else has reported this issue in over 2
years. This is likely an interaction between multiple complex components rather
than a port bug.
