Bug 287570: possible race/stall in www/qt5-webengine
https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=287570
--- Description ---
no biggie but ill just leave this here in case
i was building qt5-webengine-5.15.19p0 @ ports:0df55d23 w/ 13.5-RELEASE/amd64
today (my OPTIONS delta: ALSA=off PULSEAUDIO=on) and somewhere around:
[ 84% 20653/24391] STAMP host/obj/third_party/perfetto/libperfetto.stamp
(i say 'around' because this was a -j32 build) it just stalled for over an hour
with no more output. `top` showed box very idle
^T
load: 0.01 cmd: sh 67267 [wait] 13260.21r 0.01u 0.05s 0% 3596k
make: Working in: /usr/ports/www/qt5-webengine/work/.build
make: Working in: /usr/ports/www/qt5-webengine
^C
immediately reissuing the exact same build command it cruised right on thru to
great success
also coulda just been a gamma particle from planet Zebes (non-ECC PC) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
admins: if you find this PR a month+ stale without any #MeToo movement just
close it out
