My apologies, I have jumped the gun in trying to be helpful here. In my case
this was basically all theme related issues.

To fix the sddm-greeter/sddm-greeter-qt6 issue it was just a matter of adding a
"QtVersion=6" line to the metadata.desktop file.

Everything else was just going through all my QML files (Main.qml and all the
QML files in Components) and changing "import QtGraphicalEffects 1.0" to
"import Qt5Compat.GraphicalEffects".

I did try to change themes using "kcmshell6 kcm_sddm" and theme would not
change. But it is possible that the other 4 themes I have installed are not Qt6
compatible.
