Other affected actions:

- Shut Down (the logout screen does not appear, 
             shut down down does not occur after thirty seconds)

- Restart   (the logout screen does not appear, 
             restart does not occur after thirty seconds).


Workaround: actions without delay (prefer to not show the confirmation dialogue 
            – clear the checkbox after step 2 in comment 0).


Alternative workaround, for shut down: 

hw.acpi.power_button_state="S5"
in loader.conf(5), then (it not previously set) restart the OS for the setting 
to become effective; for a shut down in response to the power button.


For sleep,zzz(8) will work but is not secure.
