First observed on FreeBSD 15.0-CURRENT. 

Reproducible on 14.2-RELEASE-P2. 

Steps: 

1. System Settings, Desktop Session

2. enable manual saving, Apply

3. take any route to a Logout button, then click

4. observe the confirmation dialogue, cancel within thirty seconds

5. save a session

6. take any route to a Logout button, then click

Expected result: 

7. the confirmation dialogue

Actual results: 

7. no dialogue

8. wait more than thirty seconds, logout does not occur

9. key Control-Alt-Delete, the logout screen does not appear

10. Control-Alt-F2 switch to ttyv1

11. login as root

12. service sddm restart

13. encounter bug 284984, if automatic login was expected

14. login

15. the saved session is restored.
