I'm now sure the problem is webengine (so chromium) not starting headless due
to GL issues. Looks like the new version has some different requirements.

Apart from this I have no sure fire solution, but:

I suspect that along with the patch, the correct "incantation" is required in
the launch command line headless version. I'll attach a patch shortly that
needs testing, although I can't assure it will work.

BTW, looking at the upstream bug report I suspect this patch is also required
(if not already included):

If all this does not work, is there some documentation to webenvinge
commandline options? Like "--webEngineArgs --use-gl=angle --use-angle=default"
as indicated at [1]?
