Missing power options is a known problem. My current theory is that this is
caused by buggy interaction between ConsoleKit and SDDM. I'm working in this
area right now and will fix this problem as well once I figure it out.

Speaking of the patch for $STARTUP, it should be safe to remove:

- The system daemon should be started by "dbus_enable=yes" in /etc/rc.conf
- The patch uses "/usr/bin/dbus-daemon" path which is wrong for FreeBSD

What might explain the differencies you see is the "wheel" group. Check if your
user is a member of wheel.
