FYI:
I could confirm how old menu item, which crashed stellarium, started using
x11/menulibre.

 Command: env "__GL_SINGLE_THREADED=1 stellarium"
 Working dir: ""

while new menu item, starts stellarium sanely, is as follows.

 Command: "stellarium --startup-script=%f"
 Working dir: ""
