I think it's a matter of checks like this one. -> bug 270389
It would mean that we would have to update from the qt port/package, which is
not affected by such a comparison.

And, there seems to be a tool to update FreeBSD packages by Qt, but I am
wondering what happened to those who were unable to use that tool due to a QT
version mismatch and went silent :) (bug 269929)
