Thanks a lot to you guys!

I have been fighting the same (and meanwhile resorted to a Linux laptop to get
the job done), since I needed fadein/fadeout and didn't have the slightest idea
why "volume" was "not available".

After rebuilding mlt7 with NORMALIZE enabled, it works. (Still, it tells ladspa
were unavailable, but that's not as important for me as volume is.)
