Hello,
first: There's a user in the official forum saying one of those bugs
belong to Shortcut, too:
https://forums.freebsd.org/threads/sound-waves-are-not-displayed-on-kdenlive-and-shotcut-fade-in-and-fade-out-close-the-application.82916/
1) crash
Kdenlive crahses if you're click the fadein or fadout button in the
timeline; Both functions are working if you're using them from the menu.
It crashes with one of these messages:
Unknown transition "fadein"
Unknown transition "fadeout"
2) audio waveforms
I don't know when they disappeared, but you should see audio waveforms
in audio tracks inside the timeline.
This bug belongs to Shortcut, too - so I assume that this belongs to a
library used from both to display those waveforms. But I have no clue
which one that could be…
3) audio level meter
I don't know if that's a bug, or officially gone: There was an overall
volume meter that informed about the downmixed audio level; It's gone,
and I cannot find something equivalent anymore.
I'm using an up to date ("yesterday") ports tree on an up to date
FreeBSD 13.0-p5/amd64; It's all not new since version 21.12.0 - the
previous version also had those issues.
Thanks or your work on this port!
Ciao,
:) Jo
