What revision? -CURRENT is a moving target, sometimes regressions pop up and
fixed. For example, livelock affecting graphical sessions and not always
reproducible may remain unfixed for ~1 month.

Did you have ~/.drirc before this? For example, mesa_glthread may work
differently between i965 and iris.

Unless some other apps or compositors are affected this maybe a bug in KDE. ;)
