The fact is that now the HAL is almost never used. See information about
bsdisks https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=242902

But the bsdisks is also not all good. I continue to use the HAL for now. My
instructions in comment 18. But now I have modified the mount-fuse script a
bit.
