Thanks for working on this port,
  unfortunately it still is now working and as
it has been for the past six months is unable to
import/open any kind of video file.
Mine is a amd64 12.1-Stable workstation.

Here are two screen shots, one showing how it looks when opens, and
then with the message it gives when trying to import any kind of video
clip
