Make sure you also have the latest version of plasma5-plasma-workspace.  If you
have that and it still doesn't work, open konsole and run ck-list-sessions.  It
should list only 1 session and it should say "active = TRUE".  If that's not
the case see if rebooting fixes that.  If not, post the output of
ck-list-sessions here.
