Hmm, it seems that symbol version problem is ARM specific. 
It's introduced by this commit:
https://gcc.gnu.org/viewcvs/gcc?view=revision&revision=128088
Unfortunately, commit log doesn't give any information why :(
In all cases, I can fix this in your base libgcc_s, so please don't take the my
previous comment into account.
