With clang 3.4 (default compiler on 10-stable), you need the patch to expand 
std::transform(). 

I tried clang 3.5 from ports. It cores out while compiling zanshin.

These linker problems do not occur with clang 3.6 and the patch is not 
necessary if you use that compiler.
