I don't know, I'm still on FreeBSD 9.1+KDE 4.10.5.  If the diligent package 
maintainers included the debug packages in the meantime, great!

IMHO it could help polishing KDE (not only on FreeBSD) as some bugs do 
not show up on Linux but on BSD only.
