Indeed, and this can be changed by defining KDE_PREFIX make variable
which otherwise gets set in $PORTSDIR/Mk/bsd.kde4.mk

However that is for kde ports, while the port in mind is a Qt "only"
one. Have you tried using CONFIGURE_ARGS to set the prefix (i.e.
CONFIGURE_ARGS += -prefix ${PREFIX} ) ?
