My guess is that this is not a FreeBSD-specific problem. If the audio
stream works with MPlayer itself, you could try filing a bug report for
kmplayer in https://bugs.kde.org -- note, however, that KDE3 has long
been unmaintained upstream, so you might not be able to get a fix.
