You are right, a usual make install clean will fail, but if you use -D
NO_IGNORE, then it gets installed. I needed to force the installation since
all its libs were not there.
I'll see if I can get the xz base sorted out tomorrow.

Of course, you might discount this possibility, but remember that one in
a million chances happen 99% of the time.
