I've committed it to the ports already. Update to kdebase-runtime-4.4.3_1, 
install databases/virtuoso, restart you KDE session and nepomuk should work 
out of box.
If you still experience any problem, delete nepomuk settings/database:
rm -f $HOME/.kde4/share/config/nepomuk*
rm -rf $HOME/.kde4/share/apps/nepomuk

and try again.
