Here is the
log of /var/log/portmanager.log from the upgrade attempt to KDE-4.4.3:
Failed at redland, and subsequently soprano, akonadi, kdelibs etc. not
updated. This log does not seem a good source to detect the problem.

Regarding Redland, it is advised you do some
manual intervention. You can read /usr/ports/UPDATING:

20100511:

AFFECTS: users of textproc/redland RDF engine
 AUTHOR: kde at FreeBSD.org

Redland RDF engine has been split into redland itself and rasqal engine.

The recommended update procedure is to delete redland, then update ports

as usual and install desired RDF ports:

 # pkg_delete -f redland-*
 #
portmaster raptor (or portupgrade -r raptor)

Sincerely,
