SVN commit 5578 by tabthorpe:

Building KDE4 with PTHREADS looked extremely promising, but there
was about 10 ports that would not build.  This was the exact situation
I had, http://bugs.gentoo.org/256827.  Assorted dependant ports
need to be compiled gcc4.x, and that seems unlikely at this time.

Anybody who is willing, is encouraged to find work-arounds.  Otherwise
ENOTIME for me :(
