[kde-freebsd] Inactive ConsoleKit session

Hi,

This has been a long standing problem: KDM doesn't login an active session
with ConsoleKit. This can be seen by:
# ck-list-sessions
Session1:
        unix-user = '1001'
        realname = 'David Naylor'
        seat = 'Seat2'
        session-type = ''
        active = FALSE
        x11-display = ':0'
        x11-display-device = ''
        display-device = '   ?   '
        remote-host-name = ''
        is-local = TRUE
        on-since = '2009-08-11T05:48:46.487916Z'
        login-session-id = ''

(Note the "active = FALSE").

Is this a problem with KDE in general or specific to FreeBSD?

And, if this were fixed then wouldn't the pesky editing of policykit to get
mounting to work be removed?

Also, if one where to use GDM then would that solve the problem?

bugs.kde.org doesn't appear to have one about this...

regards,

David

P.S. Nice work, 4.3.0 is looking really polished (and so does Amarok
2.1.1) :->
