[kde-freebsd] changing host's domain name results in kde slow start ?

You might want to make sure that your new hostname is set up as an alias to 
127.0.0.1 in your /etc/hosts file. I believe that KDE does some DNS checks by 
default... so if your hostname isn't in DNS, and isn't in hosts, the checks 
would probably have to time out.
