[kde-freebsd] kdm & display

I've reconfigured Xorg. kde runs as text only process. Display rates are 800x600 and 640x480. previous display was set at 1280x1024, 1024x768, 800x600, and 640x480 for other monitor.
If it helps any, monitor is packard bell 1402s. 
Is it possible to correct this problem through kdm or is it a monitor/X problem?
