Hi Hannes,

I'm actually switching to 4.1.2 and I'm not sure if konqueror starts with the 
--silent option in 4.1.1
However, after cleaning my /tmp and tuning my resolv.conf, I pkilled konq and 
the sessions now stay after restart.
Logout is way faster now. KWin crashes, though, but I only get that on my 
amd64 which is equipped with nvidia.

Can you check if that helps?
