Hello,

Sometimes when I shutdown KDE (3.5.8 on FreeBSD 7.0-STABLE) it takes a
few seconds (let's say 15-20) to come down to the shell prompt where it was
started with 'startx'; related to this seem the lines in STDERR:

ksmserver: WARNING: SmsDie timeout, client kwin(1074696e79000121415870100000061780000)
ksmserver: WARNING: SmsDie timeout, client knotify(1074696e79000121650014300000007510013)
ksmserver: WARNING: SmsDie WM timeout
ICE default IO error handler doing an exit(), pid = 1336, errno = 0
startkde: Shutting down...
klauncher: Exiting on signal 1
startkde: Running shutdown scripts...
startkde: Done.

What is causing this 'SmsDie timeout'? Where to look? Thx
