kdepim-3.5.5_1
>Description:
Launching korganizer, either from the K menu or by clicking the
KOrganizer Reminder Daemon, is broken.
The problem seems to be caused by the Exec line in
${LOCALBASE}/share/applications/kde/korganizer.desktop. The Exec given is
korganizer --import %u, which causes korganizer to expect a URL of a calendar
to import. A URL is not given, so the program exits, making a few complaints
on the system console as it goes.
I didn't include a patch with this because I'm unsure of what might
break by simply removing the --import %u. I know that either workaround listed
below works fine for me, but I'm not exactly an extensive korganizer user.
NOTE: This problem does NOT appear if you call up korganizer through
kontact.
>How-To-Repeat:
Try to open korganizer from the K Menu or by clicking the KOrganizer
Reminder Daemon tooltray icon.
>Fix:
Use the Menu Editor to customize the korganizer entry in the K Menu,
or manually edit ${LOCALBASE}/share/applications/kde/korganizer.desktop.
(You'll need a UTF capable editor.)
