[kde-freebsd] ports/115624: x11/kdelibs3 - kmail crash and hang

Hi

I have also filed a bug report at kde as bug 149003. It has some similarities 
to a  previous bug report 147358 which happened on a earlier version of 
Kmail. The bug on the latest version happens less frequentlky but when it 
does the symptoms are more severe.

As you will see from the dialogue there seem to be some resistance amongst kde 
developer team to take this bug seriously. They are inclided to suggest this 
is a freebsd problem (despite evidence that the same problem occurs on 
linux!!!).

They seem pretty insistant that I should seek help from freebsd ports to help 
identify the cause although I do not know what more I can do apart from 
providing the gdb trace.

Can anyone suggest any additional tests I might run to help trace the source 
of the bug?
