[kde-freebsd] kmail config

Hi there,

well I have a German speaking friend with the age of 86 and still
using FreeBSD and kamail, however he had a change (I don't know
how as I don't live there) of his kmail and now it deletes all
in-mail and outgoing-mail after apr 2 and a half months.

He describes it as when he clicks on them then they dissapear and
are then files.

Has anyone had this problem before and how could it be changed.
