kind of old and seems that my problem is not only icon related. I just noticed 
because I use autologin, when logging out the kdm screen is completely out of 
order. Complete wrong dimensions and the fonts unreadable.

I had only cputype set but anyway I tried compiling without it and didn't 
helped.
