We have fixed this by deciding we do not care

I did some investigation and my analysis (can be wrong, totally not an expert)
is that openssl leaks some memory (or lsan thinks it does) when used in a
thread since it has some static entry points when the thread is created.
So since it's not for us to fix, we can pretend its not there.
