I have finally had a chance to sit down at the computer at home:

On the opensuse leap gnome-only system:

boud at linux-jw8m:~> xrdb -q | grep -i xft
Xft.dpi: 96
Xft.antialias: 1
Xft.hinting: 0
Xft.hintstyle: hintnone
Xft.rgba: rgb

On the kde plasma 5 system:

Xft.dpi: 120
Xft.antialias: 1
Xft.hinting: 0
Xft.hintstyle: hintnone
Xft.rgba: none
