OK I did that now, after reverting.

I guess you're right, holding our SC/BC promise even in (IMHO) theoretical 
cases is more important than a bit of clean up which can wait for KF6.
If we need to change CopyInfo in any way, we'll have to switch to some 
internal copy in kio and keep that one as the public and deprecated one.
