I’m currently using 
---
$ cat ~/scripts/config/build/kconfig/darwin-mavericks.cfg 
[DEFAULT]
configureExtraArgs=-DCMAKE_INSTALL_BUNDLEDIR="lib/libexec/kf5”
—
which I think is an appropriate location for this kind of tool. And the build system find it in there.
