kgenapidox could potentially extract info from the build dir, incidentally.

In particular, the generated version files could be used to get a
project version and the build dir could be added to the INPUT
directories to parse generated files.

kgenframeworksapidox could also use the dependency information to
properly order the frameworks so it doesn't have to do any rebuilding
(currently, it builds each tier3 and tier4 framework's documentation twice).
