KModifierKeyInfo usage and API

Anyone from the plasma team?

I would appreciate input on this (see precise question at the end),
it's preventing KF5 from moving forward with KModifierKeyInfo.

Please CC kde-frameworks-devel, I'm not on plasma-devel.
